 Sharing All Life Has to Offer
After finding jerks on other dating sites and going on too many bad dates, I thought I'd give Lavalife a try. Back in the fall of 2007 Tim saw my profile and sent me a message. I really liked what his profile had to say and messaged him back. We seemed to click right away, and we also had a lot of things in common. I could tell that we were going to be a perfect match. I was so excited to meet him in person! We talked online for a little while, and then he finally asked me out on a real date. The sparks were just as good in person as they were online! We have been a couple since that very first date, and we just celebrated our first anniversary! I've never been more in love. It's amazing that I was able to find the person of my dreams on the internet, and it scares me to think that I could have chosen not to sign up. We do everything together and love sharing all of the excitement that life has to offer - I couldn't imagine being happier! We've also begun shopping for a condo that we can buy and live in together. This Was Something Different
Stephen and I had both tried Lavalife in the past and hadn't found much success. But one Sunday evening we both decided to just take a look. I clicked Online Users Only and his was the 2nd profile on the list. I sent him a smile and he sent me a message within a few minutes. We talked that night online and on the phone the next day. Our first date was Tuesday, June 26, 2007. We knew right away this was something different - things just felt right. After several coffee dates and looking at profiles so much that they all started to sound the same, I still hadn't found someone special. I decided I was going to pull my profile and call it a day... until I saw a pic of a gentleman with the most beautiful blue eyes, and figured I would at least send him a smile. He responded - he was on the other side of the country but we talked every night and it was really nice to get to know someone without any of the usual distractions. He finally made the trip to meet me and it was true love at first sight! It has been almost 2 years and I give thanks every day for having the most wonderful man ever in my life. I haven't had a lot of luck when it comes to love but this time it is for real. He has brought a sense of comfort and security into my life that I have never experienced. before.
